This company, featured in a recent edition of BBC's Look North, make marvellous traditional and modern wooden toys for children and adults alike. Too late for Christmas (unless you live in Cumbria) but worth bearing in mind for the future.
Further to Friday's Punk post here's a scan of a page from the NME from 30 July 1977 which contains a review of Lets Go by Teesside legends (not Geordie!) Blitzkrieg Bop. Incidentally the review is written by now famous author Tony Parsons in his hip young gun slinger days at NME.
This flier for an exhibition at Newcastle upon Tyne contains a picture of a friend of mine taken from the sleeve of the Mortonsound recording of Lets Go by Blitzkrieg Bop. He was then using the pseudonym Telly Sett. I have a copy of this single, I wonder if I should post the audio here or if I should try to blackmail him first!
